Bequest

Making a Will is an important part of planning for the future. After you have provided for loved ones, you may then consider including Parkinson’s Victoria as a beneficiary.

Many people leave bequests to Parkinson’s Victoria in their Will, and over the years, these contributions large and small have contributed significantly to our work. By leaving a lasting legacy, your gift enables us to assist people living with Parkinson’s to lead independent and fulfilling lives. It is one way of making a positive difference beyond your lifetime.

If you have already made a Will, perhaps you could consider asking your solicitor to add a codicil, which will incorporate your gift to Parkinson’s Victoria.

We understand that making a Will is a very personal matter. However, if you do intend making Parkinson’s Victoria one of your beneficiaries, or have already done so, it would be a great help if you could let us know. As well as being of assistance for our future planning, it gives us an opportunity to acknowledge and recognise your generosity and to discuss your wishes. Any information you give us will of course be in the strictest confidence.

Parkinson’s Victoria Endowment Fund

Parkinson’s Victoria has established an Endowment Fund which allows you to provide a tax deductible gift that “keeps on giving.” Donated funds form a capital base and are invested for the purposes of capital appreciation and to produce income to support the mission of the organization.

Endowment donors and named endowments will be acknowledged in the Annual Report of Parkinson’s Victoria.

There is no minimum amount to contribute to the endowment fund. A contribution of $10,000 or more allows you the opportunity to create a named endowment either in your own name or in the name of someone you may wish to honour or remember.
