This site contains comprehensive information accessible to students undertaking Parkinson's studies.
Parkinson's Victoria encourages students to increase their understanding of all aspects of Parkinson's, and is pleased to provide these
online resources and links to other web sites that will assist.
Due to the substantial costs and the increasing number of requests we receive, we have made the decision to provide all student information online in formats that can be downloadable by the student.
We are unable to continue to post information. Looking on the positive side, students will now be able to access information on demand 24/7 via this site, rather than during business hours Monday to Friday, particularly useful to students who may have a tight deadline!
Here is a list of information on this site and how to access it.
1. The "
Parkinson's Facts" section in the Public Access area has an excellent booklet explaining Parkinson's, symptoms and symptom management. It also has a
list of useful web sites for further reference. Other sections cover symptoms, medication, nursing care and disease profile.
2. In the
Publications section there are a number of links to information sheets relevant to your studies.
3. In the public access area you will find
links to a range of web sites that will assist. The United Kingdom, USA and Canada web sites are particularly informative.
